Parents and Friends
Our Parents and Friends Committee are an essential part of our community at Santa Clara School. The P&F Committee lead many student focused events throughout the school year.
The ways parents can help are:
- nominating for the P&F committee
- nominating to be a class representative (enhance relationships between parent, students and class teacher in addition to providing open communication to the P&F Committee)
- volunteering for specific events throughout the school year
- attending P&F meetings or by simply sharing your ideas with our P&F to enhance our school
P&F Meetings
The P&F Meetings are a friendly, relaxed and casual environment in which parents are kept abreast of all facets of school life. These meeting are held twice per term where reports are provided by the P&F President, Principal and Treasurer.
The P&F at Santa Clara School is an independent organisation. Parents elect their Committee at the School Annual Council Meeting (ACM).

P&F – Fundraising
The ways that the P&F generates funds is by;
- Parents contributing annually to a P&F levy when paying their school fees.
- One off projects or events such as the Easter Raffle, quiz night, Bunnings sausage sizzle, lap-a-thons (colour runs) and raffles and so on
- Pursuing grant opportunities
Whilst it is not generally the role of the P&F to become involved in capital works or maintenance expenses the P&F can and often does decide to contribute funds to, or raise money for special projects to enhance student experience.
Parents are encouraged to take an active part in deciding how and where the monies raised are spent by speaking with a member of the P&F Committee.

Various events are organised throughout the year by either the P&F committee or the year groups via the class reps. These events are publicised via the school newsletter, P&F notices or by social media.
